MEMORANDUM FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS

SUBJECT: Solicitation FA4890-13-R-0117, Industry Day/One-on-One Announcement, Registration and General Information for Forward Operating Location – Base Operating Support - Curacao, Netherland Antilles
1. The U.S. Air Force, Air Combat Command, Acquisition Management and Integration Center (ACC AMIC), Langley AFB VA is developing an acquisition to support FOL-BOS services for permanently assigned Air Force personnel, equipment, facilities, and to deployed Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard aircraft, personnel and equipment conducting USSOUTHCOM, DoD, US State Department, and multi-counterdrug agencies counterdrug surveillance missions in the Caribbean and Central and South American theaters. This contract provides all management, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform tailored BOS at Hato International Air Port (IAP), Curacao and Reina Beatrix IAP, Aruba.
2. ACC AMIC will be conducting an open forum briefing and one-on-one sessions 23 - 25 July 2013 in order to share information on the government’s requirement and preliminary acquisition strategy, as well as to obtain Industry feedback. The government’s briefing will be conducted at Point Plaza Suites located at 950 J. Clyde Morris Boulevard, Newport News, VA 23601 (Tel: 757-599-4460 or 1-800-841-1112). Registration will begin at 0815 and end at 0845 on 23 July 2013. Please limit the number of company representatives to no more than two (2) attendees. The briefing will begin at 0900 followed by an open forum question and answer session. Following this briefing, each company will be allotted one hour for the one-on-one session with the government. One-on-ones will be conducted at ACC AMIC in the 5th floor foyer conference room located at 11817 Canon Boulevard, Newport News, VA. Each company will be allotted one (1) hour and thirty (30) minutes for the one-on-one session. Please limit the number of attendees to no more than three (3) per session in order to facilitate effective one-on-one dialogue. The purpose of the one-on-one session is to answer questions and allow the government to obtain specific feedback from your company’s representatives. Marketing/capabilities briefings are not authorized during the one-on-one session.
3. For our planning purposes, request you provide the following information if you are interested in participating in the open forum and/or a one-on-one session:
a) Name of Company
b) Name of each individual attending, his or her contact number and e-mail address
c) Specify if attending open forum and/or requesting a one-on-one session
Provide the above information to ACCAMIC.FOLBOS-02@langley.af.mil no later than 16 July 2013. Request you use title “[Company Name] – Industry Day Attendees” in the e-mail subject line. We will notify you of your scheduled one-on-one time within two days of receipt of your request. Appointments for a one-on-one session can also be made during the morning of the open forum, but availability may be limited. If you have questions you would like to submit in advance, please provide them to the above e-mail address no later than 16 July 2013. If you consider the questions proprietary, please clearly mark them as such.
4. Recommend you periodically check Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov or www.fedbizopps.gov) for pertinent information. The government anticipates posting the Performance Work Statement on or about 8 July 2013, and the Government will attempt to have draft sections of the Request for Proposal posted prior to 16 July 2013 to further facilitate discussions.
