Attachment L-7 Sample Client Authorization Letter
Innovation, Integration and Information Support (3IS) Solicitation Number FA2550-08-R-8009 NOTICE TO OFFERORS: This procurement could be similar to commercial services you have provided. Therefore, to assist the Government’s Performance Confidence Assessment Group (PCAG) in assessing your present/past performance on relevant commercial contracts, the following letter must be sent to your points of contact (POCs) for those commercial efforts that you identify to us in your present/past performance volume. Should you propose to use subcontractors, teammates and/or joint venture partners, and key personnel, you must obtain a similar client authorization letter from your subcontractors/teammates and/or joint venture partners/key personnel. However, it is your sole responsibility as the Offeror, to send out these authorization letters with the questionnaires to your subcontractor’s POCs.
SAMPLE:
Dear (Client)
We are currently responding to a request for proposal (RFP) FA2550-08-R-8009 issued by the 50th Contracting Squadron, Schriever AFB, CO for the acquisition of services for the Innovation, Integration and Information Support (3IS) contract. The Air Force requests that clients of the companies who submit proposals in response to the request for proposal be contacted, and that their participation in the validation process be requested. We, therefore, respectfully request and hereby authorize you to complete the attached questionnaire with regards to work we have performed for you, and forward it directly to the Air Force point of contact at stacy.reed@schriever.af.mil or andrea.pitt@schriever.af.mil by 29 Apr 09.
We have identified ____________________ (POC) of your organization as the point of contact based on their knowledge concerning our work. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Any questions may be directed to (Name, phone & fax number for the offeror’s point of contact).
