About this file
This Schedule of Quantities and Prices is an exhibit from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) Systemwide Corrosion Control Equipment Replacement project, revised July 2026. The document outlines eleven line items for bidder pricing submission, including mobilization, administrative support, upgrading cathodic protection (CP) systems across multiple transit lines (A, B/D, C, and E lines) with separate pricing for piping and elevator CP systems, installation of fifty additional corrosion protection equipment units, spare components, and operations and maintenance support with as-built documentation and training. All services are requested on a lump sum basis except for the additional corrosion protection equipment installation, which is priced per unit with an estimated quantity of fifty items.
Bidders must submit firm unit prices and lump sum prices for all line items, with unit prices multiplied by estimated quantities to calculate total prices that are then summed for the total bid price. The estimated quantities provided are for bid evaluation purposes only, and LACMTA does not guarantee that actual quantities will match estimates. All unit and lump sum prices must be inclusive of overhead, profit, applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance, and all expenses for the contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers across all tiers, and must conform to the specifications outlined in the Scope of Services and other contract documents. Any blank unit price items will render the bid non-responsive unless the unit price can be calculated from the provided total price and estimated quantity.

SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES INSTRUCTIONS
The Bidder shall submit its firm unit prices and lump sum prices for the Services set forth in the Bid and described in the IFB on the following form entitled SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND
PRICES.
The estimated quantities shown on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES are based on the best information available at the time the IFB was issued, and are used for the purpose of evaluating the Bids. LACMTA does not represent, expressly or by implication, that the actual quantities used in performing the Services will equal the estimated quantities.
In the case of items for which a fixed dollar amount predetermined by LACMTA has already been entered on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES, the dollar amount so entered shall be binding on all Bidders as the price for such item; said dollar amount shall not be revised unless LACMTA directs a Change in the Services affecting the item to which said dollar amount relates.
Unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values must be entered in the appropriate spaces provided in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES. Unit prices must be multiplied by the estimated quantity shown and the total inserted in the "Total Price" column. The "Total Prices" must be added together in arriving at the "Total Bid Price". The Total Bid Price shall be for the completion and acceptance of all Services listed in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES as required by the Contract.
The unit prices and lump sum prices must conform to their respective requirements and parameters as specified in the Scope of Services. They also must be inclusive of all costs for the Services specified in other Contract Documents, including the proportional costs for overhead, profit, all applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance and other expenses of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers of all tiers.
Should any unit price be left blank, the Bid will be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., unit price can be determined by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity).
