About this file
This document is Exhibit 12 of a Minimum Qualifications form for a Corrosion Control System Upgrades project, issued by Metro (likely Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority). The exhibit establishes mandatory qualification requirements that bidders must satisfy to be considered responsive and responsible for contract award. Bidders must complete and submit the minimum qualifications form with all supporting documentation in Volume I of their bid response. Failure to meet any of the six minimum qualifications or to submit required documentation will result in the bidder being deemed non-responsive and/or non-responsible and will result in disqualification from award consideration.
The minimum qualifications require that the prime contractor or subcontractor hold a C-10 Electrical Contractors License in California; the prime contractor demonstrate a minimum of five years of experience in corrosion control system design, installation, testing, and commissioning; the principal engineer hold a California Professional Electrical Engineer License from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; the principal engineer possess a minimum of five years of relevant corrosion control experience specific to city rail transit systems; and both the corrosion control contractor or specialist hold AMPP CP3 and AMPP CP4 certifications. Bidders must submit copies of all licenses and certifications along with completed experience forms (Attachment D for contractor experience and Attachment E for principal engineer experience) that document relevant projects, including project descriptions, contract values, role percentages, contract dates, and verified project manager contact information for reference checks.
