About this file

This is a Schedule of Quantities and Prices bidding form for the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA). The document serves as the bid pricing sheet template that bidders must complete when submitting proposals for services. Bidders are required to provide firm unit prices and lump sum prices for all services described in the Invitation for Bid (IFB). The estimated quantities provided on the form are based on information available at the time of IFB issuance and are used solely for bid evaluation purposes; LACMTA does not guarantee that actual quantities will match these estimates. All unit prices must be multiplied by estimated quantities to calculate total prices, which are then summed to arrive at the Total Bid Price for completion and acceptance of all services.

Unit prices, lump sum prices, and all values must be entered in designated spaces on the form and must conform to requirements specified in the Scope of Services. These prices must be inclusive of all costs including overhead, profit, applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance, and all expenses of the contractor, subcontractors, and suppliers at all tiers. Bids with blank unit prices or total prices may be considered non-responsive unless the missing values can be calculated from available information by dividing total price by estimated quantity or multiplying unit price by estimated quantity, respectively. Any unit prices that LACMTA has predetermined and entered on the form are binding on all bidders and cannot be revised unless LACMTA directs a change in services affecting that item.

SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES INSTRUCTIONS (BID PRICING SHEET)

(NOTE: This form may be altered by the CA/Buyer according to pricing information needed. However, the title may not be changed as the solicitation/contract may reference this form. You may add a sub-header if necessary. Delete this note.)

The Bidder shall submit its firm unit prices and lump sum prices for the Services set forth in the Bid and described in the IFB on the following form entitled SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES.

The estimated quantities shown on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES are based on the best information available at the time the IFB was issued, and are used for the purpose of evaluating the Bids. LACMTA does not represent, expressly or by implication, that the actual quantities used in performing the Services will equal the estimated quantities.

In the case of items for which a fixed dollar amount predetermined by LACMTA has already been entered on the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES, the dollar amount so entered shall be binding on all Bidders as the price for such item; said dollar amount shall not be revised unless LACMTA directs a Change in the Services affecting the item to which said dollar amount relates.

Unit prices, lump sum prices, and other values must be entered in the appropriate spaces provided in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES. Unit prices must be multiplied by the estimated quantity shown and the total inserted in the "Total Price" column. The "Total Prices" must be added together in arriving at the "Total Bid Price". The Total Bid Price shall be for the completion and acceptance of all Services listed in the SCHEDULE OF QUANTITIES AND PRICES as required by the Contract.

The unit prices and lump sum prices must conform to their respective requirements and parameters as specified in the Scope of Services. They also must be inclusive of all costs for the Services specified in other Contract Documents, including the proportional costs for overhead, profit, all applicable taxes, tariffs, insurance and other expenses of the Contractor, Subcontractors, and Suppliers of all tiers.

Should any unit price be left blank, the Bid will be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., unit price can be determined by dividing the total price by the estimated quantity).

Should any total price be left blank, the Bid may be considered non-responsive unless the blank item can be calculated from the information available (i.e., total price can be determined by multiplying the unit price by the estimated quantity).
