About this file
This file is a registration guide for the City of Minneapolis eSupplier system, which serves as the mandatory vendor portal for conducting business with the city. The document provides step-by-step instructions for registering businesses and individuals in the eSupplier platform, a prerequisite for participating in solicitations and bidding opportunities with the City of Minneapolis. The registration process requires vendors to submit identifying information including Social Security Number, EIN, or TIN; entity name; business type classification; primary business address; email address; and at least one contact person with their respective contact information. Vendors must select applicable sourcing categories during registration to receive notifications about relevant solicitations and bid opportunities. The document outlines the complete registration workflow from initial access through the city's website to final submission and confirmation.
Upon successful registration submission, vendors receive approval notification via email containing their User ID and a temporary password for accessing the eSupplier portal. The system requires users to change their temporary password upon first login through a secure link provided in the approval email. This registration process applies broadly to all vendors seeking opportunities with the City of Minneapolis, including those responding to specific solicitations such as the RFP for Environmental Lead Analysis laboratory services. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, contract amounts, or renewal options are detailed in this registration guide, as it functions as an instructional document for portal access rather than a solicitation-specific document.
