About this file

This is a user instruction guide for the eSupplier platform maintained by the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The document provides step-by-step instructions for bidders and suppliers to access and navigate the eSupplier system, which serves as the centralized portal for state and local contract opportunities in Minneapolis. The guide covers essential functions including signing into the platform, accessing the supplier secure homepage, and managing business profile information. Users can review and update their business details through dedicated profile tiles, with options for bidders to access their bidder/payee profiles and suppliers to manage their supplier accounts. The platform requires users to save or submit changes after making updates to their information. Additionally, the guide explains how to add or update service and goods categories relevant to a business, allowing suppliers to receive notifications about applicable contracting opportunities across five structured category areas: Professional and Technical Services, Construction Services, Other Services, Goods and Supplies, and Items for Rent.

The document also provides instructions for account security and access management, including procedures for changing passwords and retrieving forgotten credentials through email recovery sent to the business's primary email address. Users can navigate the platform by selecting the home icon to return to the Supplier Secure Homepage or using dropdown menus to access the public eSupplier homepage. The sign-out function is accessed through a vertical ellipsis icon in the top right corner. This guide was last updated on May 15, 2024, and serves as foundational documentation for any entity seeking to bid on or supply goods and services to the City of Minneapolis through its eSupplier procurement system.
