About this file
This is a procedural guidance document from the City of Minneapolis describing how suppliers can bid on public contracting opportunities through the eSupplier platform. The document provides step-by-step instructions for vendors to access the City of Minneapolis's contracting opportunities, review bid packages, and submit bids for public events posted on the system. Suppliers begin by accessing the public eSupplier home page, navigating to the Contracting Opportunities tile, and selecting either the Invited Events or Public Events tabs to view available bidding opportunities. Before submitting a bid, vendors must review all associated event documents, which may require completion and attachment to their bid submission. The bid submission process involves responding to event-specific questions, uploading required files through the Event Comments and Attachments section, entering a unit bid price, and submitting the bid through the designated Submit Bid button, after which bidders receive a confirmation email.
The document does not address pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent information, funding sources, or contract award details, as it serves solely as an instructional guide for navigating the eSupplier bidding system. Required fields are marked with red stars in the submission form, and bidders may encounter duplicate file names when events are both public and invitation-based. The guidance was last updated on May 6, 2024, and is designed to facilitate participation in City of Minneapolis procurement opportunities for suppliers seeking to bid on public events.
