About this file

This is an Exhibit E1 Pricing Scenarios attachment document for a Request for Offer issued by the Department of Information Resources for Cabling Services and Related Products under COOP2026SOL-00008. The document outlines three distinct pricing scenarios for cabling installation projects in Texas. Pricing Scenario A involves running eight administrative data connections to multiple locations in new office space, with all cables to be terminated, tested, and labeled using CAT6 UTP cabling in various colors (blue, white, orange, and purple) with Panduit modular jacks and faceplates. Pricing Scenario B requires installation of indoor/outdoor plenum-rated fiber optic cabling consisting of 1,000 feet each of 12-strand single-mode OS2 and 12-strand multi-mode OM4 armored fiber between an elementary school IDF and a high school MDF, including 19-inch 2-post racks, fiber enclosures, vertical wire managers, and fusion splice pigtail sets. Pricing Scenario C is the largest scope, requiring installation of 98 data connections across a 120-area office space using the same CAT6 UTP cabling specifications as Scenario A. All scenarios require vendors to provide complete materials and labor with detailed cost breakdowns including MSRP and DIR discounts.

Each pricing scenario includes comprehensive specifications for equipment and materials, standardized testing and documentation requirements, and detailed labeling protocols. For Scenarios A and C, the specified cabling components include Panduit PUP6C04BU-U (or CommScope equivalent) for data connections, modular jacks in multiple colors, 24-port and 48-port unloaded patch panels, and 110 blocks. For Scenario B, the specifications call for armored plenum-rated fiber cables from manufacturers such as Panduit, Corning, or CommScope, fiber enclosures, CPI or Panduit racks and vertical wire managers, and LC duplex fusion splice pigtails. All scenarios require vendors to provide labor, supervision, tooling, and miscellaneous hardware, conduct testing per specifications, submit results to the DIR Engineering Project Manager, deliver as-built drawings in PDF format, and implement fire stopping at all wall and sleeve penetrations. The document includes modular furniture layout images to support the scope definition for the office space installation scenarios.
