About this file
This is a Designated Representatives, Key Personnel, and Sub-Consultants form for the City of Pasadena Public Works Engineering Division's On-Call Structural Engineering Services contract opportunity in California. The form is designed for consultant firms to identify their designated representative, key personnel with assigned titles, responsibilities, and time commitments, and any sub-consultants or sub-consultant firms they intend to utilize on the project. The City of Pasadena seeks qualified firms to provide on-call structural engineering services for maintenance and capital improvement projects involving City-owned buildings and infrastructure. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of experience providing structural engineering services of comparable nature, size, and complexity. The City may award separate five-year agreements to multiple qualified firms, with compensation under each agreement not to exceed $1,000,000. No minimum amount of work or compensation is guaranteed. Each assignment shall be authorized through a written Task Order establishing scope, staffing, deliverables, schedule, and not-to-exceed fees, with no work commencing without written City authorization.
For each task order assignment, the City will select the on-call consultant it determines is best suited based on relevant expertise, proposed personnel, availability, past performance, schedule, assignment complexity, and the ability to negotiate a fair and reasonable fee. If the City and initially selected consultant cannot agree on task order terms, the City may negotiate with another on-call consultant. This form functions as a key component of the proposal submission requirements, enabling the City to evaluate the qualifications and availability of consultant firms' designated representatives, core project staff, and any proposed sub-consultants prior to award and task order issuance.
