About this file
This document is a Contract Amendment (Amendment Number 9) for a Technology Contract (Central Indexing System) between the State of North Dakota, specifically acting through its Office of Secretary of State and Information Technology Department, and PCC Technology, Inc. dba Civix. The amendment involves both the Office of Secretary of State and the state's Information Technology Department, with key signatories including Sandra McMerty (Deputy Secretary of State) and Greg Hoffman (Chief Information Officer).
The contract, which originally commenced on January 22, 2015, is being amended to extend its expiration date to October 12, 2025, with one remaining renewal option. The amendment also introduces a new Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program effective July 1, 2023, which requires the contractor to undergo an annual third-party security questionnaire at no cost to the state, unless the contractor has received specific certifications like FedRAMP, StateRAMP, or HiTrust. The contractor must complete the security questionnaire within 21 calendar days of receiving a written request and must also undergo the questionnaire in the event of a breach. This amendment represents a standard contract renewal with additional security protocol implementation.
