About this file
This is a Task Order Procedure document issued by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) that establishes standardized procedures for executing task orders under a master contract. The document outlines the process whereby Metro's Project Manager initiates task orders by providing contractors with a description of required services, completion dates, delivery requirements, and supporting materials. Contractors must submit completed task order forms with firm fixed prices based on contracted unit rates, including detailed service breakdowns showing quantities and unit rates for each service component. Upon Metro's full execution of the task order, contractors have two working days to submit a detailed work plan and schedule for review and approval. The procedures permit Metro to issue and revise task orders during contract performance, subject to contractor acceptance, with specific project delivery timelines established within individual task orders.
The task order pricing structure requires a Not-to-Exceed amount with a detailed cost breakdown summary including labor rates, labor hours, labor totals, materials, and other costs. Support documentation must accompany invoices upon award. The document includes provisions for Small Business Enterprise and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise commitment percentages to be specified per task order. Payment shall be made according to the master contract's payment provisions, and all task orders are subject to Metro audit following service completion. The template accommodates signature blocks for Metro approval by a Senior Director, Senior Manager, and Senior FMS representative, as well as contractor acknowledgment and acceptance of each task order.
