About this file
This is an Addendum document related to a construction project for the Climbers Run Nature Center Site Improvements administered by the Lancaster County Conservancy in Pennsylvania. The project encompasses the construction of ADA accessible and universal access trails, driveway improvements, expanded parking facilities, and stormwater management facilities. The base bid table provided in this addendum identifies numerous line items including mobilization, clearing and grubbing, selective tree removal, site demolition, site excavation, cold milling, aggregate stone subbase, and multiple asphalt mixture design courses. Sealed bids were to be received online through the PennBid Program until 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, with bids remaining open for 60 days from the date of opening. Bids are to be submitted on both lump sum and unit price bases for a single prime contract.
Bid security equal to 10 percent of the bid amount is required, along with a Workmen's Compensation Affidavit, Public Work Employment Verification Form, and Non-Collusion Affidavit. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. The project is funded in part by a state grant administered through the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions. All bidding documents are available at no cost through the PennBid portal. The Lancaster County Conservancy reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
