About this file
This is a construction narrative document for the State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) in partnership with the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and Division of Water Resources (DWR) for the Logan Fish Hatchery Residence project. The project involves the design and construction of a single-story, 2,000 square foot residential rambler on the Logan Fish Hatchery property. The solicitation requests proposals from Design-Build teams, which typically consist of a general contractor with subcontractors and a design firm with supporting consultants, though the document notes that the team structure for this specific project may deviate from standard Design-Build configurations. The project scope emphasizes creating a highly functional, low-maintenance residential structure suitable for on-site operations at the hatchery facility.
The design-build budget for the project is capped at $500,000.00. This is a request for proposals (RFP) process seeking qualified Design-Build teams to submit competitive bids for the complete design and construction services. The narrative document provides the framework for evaluating proposals and establishing project requirements, deliverables, and performance standards that bidders must address in their submissions.
