About this file
This document contains an amendment to a solicitation for a construction contract and the related federal contract opportunity. The amendment provides revised responses to questions from offerors, clarifying that roof tie-off anchors are not required as the project scope only includes OSHA-compliant safety railings. It also confirms that previously completed past performance questionnaires may be submitted if they meet the solicitation's requirements. The federal contract opportunity is to replace existing roofing systems at the Leo O'Brien Federal Building, including a base bid and alternative approach for the roof assembly as well as an option to remove and replace additional roof areas. The 100% small business set-aside solicitation is issued by the General Services Administration's Public Buildings Service Region 2 for a construction contract with responses due by the specified date.

# Question
8 Solicitation SOW document references installation of roof tie-off anchor system to be installed and tested. Information on this system including the number of anchors, layout and testing requirements cannot be located in the plans and specs. Please clarify and provide information if this is to be installed?
Revised
Response:
NKB has provided design for OSHA-compliant safety railings. Disregard previous comment regarding "Additional info to be provided in the forthcoming amendment on anchor tie-off to be used by window washers."
This is not in the scope of work.
40 n/a We are inquiring about the Attachment B Past Performance Questionnaire of the subject reference solicitation. Is it acceptable to provide the Att B with reference to a previously completed CPARS or other PPQ? Some of our past projects are used as past performance qualifiers on multiple GSA, NPS, and other solicitations and if those are sufficient evaluations, we would like to use those rather than requesting a new evaluation. Please advise
Response:
Previously completed past performance questionnaires are acceptable provided they meet the minimum requirements required by the solicitation for Factor 2, Past Performance which includes: Projects must be roofing projects that have been successfully and substantially completed within the past seven (7) years and must each have a minimum Contract value of three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000). The Offeror must have served as the
Prime contractor on the submitted projects.
