About this file

This document is a Work Plan developed by Haydon in collaboration with their partner Omni Electric, detailing the preparatory and execution steps for a project involving infrastructure or utility work. The plan appears to be for a specific work assignment, likely for a governmental department, with a focus on comprehensive project management and safety protocols.

The work plan outlines a structured approach beginning with a comprehensive inventory of materials, equipment, labor, and traffic control requirements. A key component is the Job Hazard Analysis (J.H.A.) to identify and mitigate potential risks. Haydon and Omni Electric will prepare a detailed cost estimate and hourly schedule that breaks down each activity, including traffic control installation and removal. The plan emphasizes ongoing project monitoring, with the on-site supervisor tracking progress hourly and coordinating with the department inspector to ensure work completion, potentially across multiple shifts if necessary.

Work Plan

Our work plan will be as follows; we will start with a list of materials, equipment, labor, IMSA technician, and the traffic control plan for the work area. A Job Hazard Analysis (J.H.A.) will be included with the work plan, which will identify all potential hazards and means to mitigate risk. Haydon, with the help of their partner, Omni Electric, will prepare a detailed cost estimate, itemizing the cost of the work. Along with the detailed cost estimate, a schedule will be included broken down by the hour. The hourly schedule will identify each activity, including installation and removal of traffic control. After the Department has completed their review of the work plan, a meeting will be held to address any comments, questions, or concerns to ensure all expectations are being met for that Work

Assignment. During the execution of the work, the on-site supervisor will monitor the progress of the work hourly and check it against the schedule that was developed during the work plan. If it is determined that the work will not be completed by the end of the shift, the on-site supervisor will meet with the inspector and schedule the completion of the work for the following shift.
