About this file

This performance specification outlines requirements for a refrigerator monitoring system at a military medical facility. The system must provide non-proprietary, 24/7 monitoring of temperature and humidity in refrigerators, freezers, and temperature controlled rooms. Electronic sensors must accurately measure temperature within +/-0.5°F and humidity within +/-5% RH. The system requires a minimum of 16 input/output points expandable to 144, with 24 hours of battery backup. Communication may occur via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, radio frequency, cellular, or category 6 cable. The system must interface with the building management system and real time location system. The specification addresses submittal requirements, performance testing, warranties, and operator training. Installers must have 5 years experience and calibration must demonstrate sensor accuracy across specified ranges.

The related federal contract opportunity notice announces an upcoming simplified acquisition for an initial outfitting project at a veterinary clinic at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The total small business set-aside contract is estimated between $1-3 million. The proposal due date is August 31, 2022, though no site visit is scheduled. Questions may be asked through August 15th regarding solicitation number W9127S22Q6004. The OFB goal date is December 31, 2023 and the requirement is a NAICS 337127 size standard of 500 employees. The Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock District will issue the request for quote.
