About this file
This performance specification outlines requirements for a patient monitoring and telemetry system. Key details include specifications for LCD displays, monitoring of ECG, respiration, blood pressure, temperature and SpO2. Central station requirements and locations are defined. The specification addresses submittals, performance testing, warranties, and training requirements. Installers must have five years experience and provide a compliance document.
This special notice informs potential offerors of an upcoming requirement for an initial outfitting project for a veterinary clinic at Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The procurement will use FAR Part 12 for commercial items and FAR Part 13 for simplified acquisition, with an estimated value between $1-3 million. The NAICS code is 337127 and size standard is 500 employees. The opportunity is a total small business set-aside. The proposal due date is August 31, 2022 and questions may be asked through August 15, 2022 in ProjNet. The OFB goal date is December 31, 2023. The agency is the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Little Rock.

GENERAL
This Performance Specification (PS) specifies the requirements for patient monitoring and telemetry systems.
Note: A typical patient monitoring and telemetry system consists of a network of sensors and displays with event logging and visual display of real-time patient parameters and trends. The system provides visual and auditory alarms whenever conditions exceed the monitored parameters. Real property, including raceway, cable tray, junction boxes, etc. are addressed in their respective UFGS sections and not included in this specification.
