The township will condition the existing surface through crack sealing prior to bituminous surface treatment and will conduct final inspection. Progress payments will be made at 90% of completed work with 10% retainage until 50% project completion, then at 95% of completed work thereafter. The contractor is responsible for traffic control, material certifications, oil and stone sampling, power brooming, tack coat application, and defect maintenance for one year following application.
