Find teaming recommendations

Open Teaming and click the compass Explore icon at the top of the Your Interests rail. GovTribe also shows this feed automatically on the Teaming page when you have not posted any teaming interests yet.

Each card is either a vendor already looking for a partner or a record worth posting your own interest on.

How suggestions are ordered

GovTribe blends several sources into one feed and shows the strongest first:

1. Vendors already looking to team — open teaming interests from other vendors whose capture footprint matches yours, based on the vendor in your capture profile. These come first because a partner is already waiting.
2. Opportunities matched to your vendor profile — records GovTribe's AI has reviewed against your capture profile vendor and thinks are worth teaming on, each with a suggested role (prime or sub) and a short rationale explaining the fit.
3. Records you viewed recently — teamable records you looked at recently that you have not posted an interest on.
4. Popular on GovTribe — records with broad teaming activity, used to fill out the feed when the personalized sources run short.

Records you have already posted an interest on, and suggestions you have dismissed, do not appear.

Vendor cards: connect with a partner

When another vendor is already looking to team, the card describes what they want and how they match you:

• The card leads with A vendor is looking for subcontractors or A vendor is looking for a prime, followed by the record they posted on.
• You see the vendor's anonymous public name, logo, and any accolade badges — not their real company name. Identities are revealed only after a teaming request is accepted.
• A why-line explains the match, such as Matches your NAICS and agency footprint, Matches your NAICS focus, or Matches your agency footprint.
• Click Connect to open the record's Teaming tab and start a teaming request to that vendor.

Opportunity cards: post your own interest

Other cards suggest a record worth teaming on yourself:

• The card shows the record name and a short summary.
• When GovTribe's AI has matched the record to your vendor profile, the card also shows a suggested role (Suggested role: Prime or Suggested role: Subcontractor), a short rationale explaining the match, and badges for any shared NAICS, agency, PSC, or set-aside signals.
• The why-line explains why it is here: Matched to your vendor profile, You viewed this recently, or Popular on GovTribe.
• Click Post your interest to open the create form, pre-filled from your capture profile. See Create a teaming interest.

Dismiss a suggestion

If a suggestion is not relevant, click the ✕ (Not relevant) button in the top corner of the card. GovTribe asks Not a fit? Tell us why and offers an optional reason:

• Outside our core capabilities
• Ineligible for this opportunity
• Outside our geographic area
• Already pursuing this opportunity
• Other

Pick the reason that fits, or click Just dismiss to skip it. Either way, GovTribe removes the card from the feed and does not suggest that record again. The reason is optional — it only helps GovTribe understand what missed. Dismissing a suggestion does not post an interest or notify anyone.
