Vendor data type
An organization that appears as a vendor, awardee, recipient, subrecipient, or supplier in government-market data.

- Update frequency: Daily source updates, daily deleted-record checks, and periodic backfills.
- Volume: About 2.4 million GovTribe records as of May 2026.

Notes
Some current SAM.gov-backed vendor records use the vendor's UEI as the govtribe_id. Older GovTribe vendor records can use a GovTribe-created legacy ID instead. Keep both govtribe_id and uei when matching vendor records across GovTribe exports, MCP responses, Zapier data, or external federal systems.
