GovTribe collects federal forecast data from these forecast sources:

- Department of the Navy Long Range Acquisition Estimate (LRAE)
- DHS APFS (Acquisition Planning Forecast System)

How current a forecast is depends on the source it came from. GovTribe rechecks each source on its own schedule, and agencies publish on schedules of their own. The Navy LRAE is one workbook covering Navy and Marine Corps commands, republished about twice a year, so every forecast from an edition shares that edition's publication date until the next edition is released. USAID forecasts are no longer being updated and remain searchable as historical planning records.
