About this opportunity
The Indian Health Service (IHS), a component of the Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking office furniture for the Mid-Atlantic Service Unit (MASU) clinic located in Charles City, Virginia. The procurement involves furnishing a newly constructed brick-and-mortar health facility that will serve seven Native American tribes, including the Pamunkey, Chickahominy, and Nansemond. The contract requires comprehensive office furniture solutions, including 18 left return L-shaped desks, 11 right return L-shaped desks, 95 task chairs, 59 visitor chairs, conference tables, lobby furniture, and various supplementary items. Interested vendors must have an active SAM.gov registration and provide capability data demonstrating performance of similar work within the past three years. Responses are due by March 19, 2025, at 1700 ET, with potential vendors required to email Andrew.Rhoades@ihs.gov to indicate interest and submit their unique entity identifier.
The procurement is exclusively set aside for Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) or Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) contractors, with a performance period estimated from April 21, 2025, to September 1, 2025. The contract falls under NAICS code 337211 for Wood Office Furniture Manufacturing and PSC code 7110 for Office Furniture. While specific award value details are not explicitly stated, the comprehensive furniture requirements suggest a significant procurement scope for the new tribal health center. The solicitation includes an attached IEE Representation form that vendors must complete, and the government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in subsequent solicitations. Notably, the pre-solicitation notice emphasizes that the submission does not obligate the government to issue a contract and that any information provided is voluntary and will not be returned to respondents.
