The purpose of Amendment 01:1. Change the bid submission procedures under SECTION 00 21 13- Instructions to Bidders section.2. Add Attachment 7- Contractor EAL Base Pass Request.
The 20th Contracting Squadron at Shaw AFB, SC intends award a firm-fixed price Construction contract. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment and transportation, and perform all operations necessary to accomplish Maintain Airfield and Base Stripping in strict accordance with the statement of work. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 -- Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the estimated contract magnitude for this acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. The requirement will be acquired utilizing procedures under FAR Part 14 - Sealed Bidding and FAR Part 36 - Construction and Architect -- Engineer Contracts. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237310 and the size standard is $36.5 million. THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING ISSUED AS A HUB-ZONE SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.1301.

All work is to be completed in accordance with (IAW) the Statement of Work dated 14 May 2018.IAW FAR 36-204(d), Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction Projects, the magnitude for this project is as follows: Between $250,000 and $500,000.The government intends to award this requirement as a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
The government reserves the right to award any individual or all contract line items (CLINs) from this solicitation at the discretion of the Contracting officer. The Government intends to solicit and award this requirement with a HubZone set-aside. The request for this set-aside has been approved by the SBA.
FAR 52.232-18, Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
Follow the instructions to bidders in order to submit a timely submission.


Site Visit: A site visit will be held 20 August 2018 at CE Building 250 Main Conference Room at 08:30 AM Eastern Standard Time. All Questions shall be submitted in writing by COB 22 August 2018.
