Set 6 Questions and Answers – Concrete Pad

1. Sheet 2 of 2 of the drawings ( grading plan) gives a bold FG number at each corner of the slab. I am assuming that FG is finish grade. Do they mean to say that these FG numbers are the top of concrete elevation of the slab?

ANSWER: Yes. The FG does stand for finished grade which is the top of the concrete pad.

2. Sheet 2 of 2 of the drawings ( grading plan) gives existing contour lines of existing grade in the range of 4113.94 to 4115.83. The FG numbers give a number range of 4414.94 to 4416.33. I am assuming that this is a typo and the

FG numbers should be 4114.94 to 4116.33 for FG numbers? Concur?

ANSWER: Yes, I concur.
