MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD

FROM: 125th MSG/MSC

SUBJECT: Minutes for Pre-bid Conference and Site Visit, Solicitation W911YN-17-B-1001, Multi Area Renovation Project.

1. The list of contractors attending the meeting is shown on the attached attendance roster. The following Government representatives attended the subject meeting at 2:00 PM local, 9 August 2017 in Building 1006:

2. The following items were discussed during the Pre-bid Conference:

a. This is an invitation for bid (IFB) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14

b. This solicitation is set-aside 100% small business

c. Interested offerors must be registered in SAM. Go to https://www.sam.gov

d. All solicitation documents are found on www.fbo.gov

e. All questions must be submitted in writing via email, especially technical questions to dawn.r.loyd-mccrary.mil@mail.mil. DO NOT contact other military/government members. All questions and answers will be posted with the solicitation on FBO.

f. Attendance at the pre-bid/site visit is not mandatory.

g. The contract period is 90 days after notice to proceed. The schedule can be less than 90 days, but must be reasonable and realistic.

h. Solicitation includes clause 52.219-6—Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. This is based on original market research.

i. A secondary organized visit is being contemplated by the Government.

j. Contractors were advised to check FBO for updates

3. A PowerPoint slideshow presentation was briefed and attached.

4. A guided site visit of Buildings 1005, 1008, and 1009 was conducted. Contractors were advised to submit all questions in writing as no answers given to any questions are official unless in writing.

5. The pre-bid conference and site visit concluded at approximately 4:00 PM

Use a separate-page indorsement when there isn’t space remaining on the original memorandum or previous indorsement page. The separate-page indorsement is basically the same as the one for the same page except the top line always cites the indorsement number with the originator’s office, date, and subject of the original communication; the second line reflects the functional address symbol of the indorsing office with the date. An example is at the top of this page.
