Threat Systems Operations and Maintenance

Integrated Support (TSOMIS)

SECTION 1 - DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

1.1 Overview

1.1.1 Purpose of Performance Work Statement

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the effort required for integrated operation, maintenance, and technical services to support the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI). These services are required to assist PEO STRI with its mission requirements and customers with support tasks as specified in this document.

1.1.2 Background

a. TSMO is a management office under the PEO STRI - Project Manager for (Instrumentation, Targets, Threat Simulators and SOF Training Systems (PM ITTS). TSMO's mission is to manage the Army Threat Systems program to include the total life cycle and operation of threat systems for testing and training in live, virtual, and constructive environments.

b. TSMO routinely acquires products and field support for products that cross traditional Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition and contracting boundaries. In some cases operations and maintenance support equipment (e.g., system spare parts, special tools. test equipment, depot level documentation, etc.) will be a part of the requirement.

c. TSMO requires technical support in the Continental United States (CONUS) and occasionally Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS).

d. Unscheduled test events in this PWS may periodically require the Contractor to provide additional operators and maintenance personnel during "Surge Support" periods to accomplish specific test and training support.

SECTION 2 - APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
