About this file
This document is a Vendor Affidavit from Hillsborough County Public Schools regarding human trafficking prevention, specifically addressing Section 787.06(13) of Florida Statutes. The affidavit requires all nongovernmental entities (referred to as "Contractors") executing, renewing, or extending contracts with governmental entities to provide a signed statement certifying they do not engage in coercive labor practices.
The affidavit mandates that contractors explicitly confirm they will not use physical force, restrain or isolate individuals without lawful authority, establish exploitative debt arrangements, confiscate identification documents, cause financial harm, entice people by fraud, or provide controlled substances for exploitation. By signing, the authorized representative declares under penalty of perjury that their company adheres to these strict anti-human trafficking standards. The document provides a signature line for an authorized company representative to complete, including spaces for name, title, and date of execution.
