About this file
The document is a state contract overview from the Massachusetts Operational Services Division (OSD) for VEH102, a statewide contract focusing on advanced vehicle technologies and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. The contract involves multiple vendors across three technology categories, including EV charging station equipment providers, anti-idling technology suppliers, and after-market vehicle conversion technology companies. Participating vendors include Envision Solar, Nuvve Corporation, EV Launchpad, Oasis Charger Corporation, and others, with the contract managed by David Sargeant from the Massachusetts government.
The contract covers a comprehensive range of EV and advanced vehicle technology services, including EV charging station equipment, site assessments, installation, maintenance, anti-idling technologies, and vehicle conversion services. Financial incentives are available through various sources, such as MassDEP incentive programs, utility funding from Eversource and National Grid, with potential coverage up to 100% of infrastructure costs, particularly for environmental justice communities. The contract aims to support fleet electrification by offering diverse charging technologies (Level 1, 2, and DC Fast Chargers), portable charging solutions, solar charging options, and vehicle-to-grid capabilities, with a focus on reducing operational costs and promoting cleaner transportation alternatives.
