About this file
This is a Traffic Count Survey Worksheet document related to South Carolina's Traffic Count Collection Services contract opportunity. The worksheet serves as a data collection instrument for documenting vehicular traffic volumes at specified locations. The form is designed to facilitate systematic recording of traffic count data, including vehicle classifications, directional movement, and time-period breakdowns. The worksheet enables surveyors to manually collect and organize traffic information that will support transportation planning, infrastructure analysis, and traffic management decisions for the state.
The worksheet includes standardized fields for recording essential survey parameters such as location identification, date, time intervals, weather conditions, and vehicle type categories. The form structure allows for the collection of directional traffic data (northbound, southbound, eastbound, westbound) organized by vehicle classification (passenger vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, and other categories) during specified counting periods. This standardized format ensures consistency across multiple survey locations and enables reliable aggregation of traffic data for statewide transportation planning and engineering purposes.
