About this file
This presentation outlines the requirements for the Defense Logistics Agency Energy's annual bulk petroleum purchase for the Western Pacific and Middle East regions. Key details include:
-
The solicitation seeks fixed-price offers for delivery of over 450 million gallons of various petroleum products including F-76, JA-1, JP-5 and RME-180 to bases across the regions from January 2020 through December 2020. Multiple contract awards are anticipated.
-
The submission deadline is 31 May 2019. Evaluations will use a lowest-price technically acceptable methodology. Prices should remain fixed except for economic price adjustments. Renewable and alternative fuels are encouraged but must be competitive with standard petroleum products.
-
Delivery modes include FOB origin tanker as well as FOB origin/destination railcar, barge, pipeline and tank truck. The Defense Logistics Agency Energy will manage contract administration and quality assurance requirements. The presentation outlines specifications, quality provisions and procurement process steps for this annual bulk fuels acquisition.
