DLA Disposition Services Aviano, Italy
Location:
Aviano Air Base is located approximately 50 miles north of Venice, Italy, and nine miles from Pordenone, the closest large town.
Current Staff: 9 employees General Information:
DLA Disposition Services Aviano disposes of excess surplus property generated by all of Northern Italy.
Area of Responsibility:
All Military Installation operating in the Northern Italian area of operation.
Facilities:
DLA Disposition Services Aviano is a full service Disposition Service site. Approximately 35,000 sf of warehouse storage space in one former hanger. Government operated scale is available with a Public scale located 4.5 km from the DLA Disposition Services Site.
Constraints: Limited large item and bulk storage.

Primary Scrap Generation Commodities: The site generates all CLINs of scrap under the R2010 scrap contract with major generations of Light and Heavy metal, ADPE, white goods, industrial rubbish, vehicles and aluminum.

To Liaison Office Aviano From Venice Airport: Turn right from airport entrance road, at first traffic light turn left. Follow this road to the Autostrada (A4), exit in the direction of Trieste. Exit A4 at Portogruaro-Pordenone(A28).
Follow A28 about 25 KM. Exit A28 at Cimpello. Follow this road to the Pordenone exit (SS13). You end up on a round-about. Take your third right towards Pordennone. Once on SS13 take a right at the fourth traffic light to SS 251 (Aviano/Maniago), turn left onto SP 7.Enter the main gate and turn right at the roundabout. Building 1459 is the last building on the right side of the road. Bldg 1459 is directly behind the vehicle inspection tent.

DoD activities located at Germersheim Army Depot, Germersheim.
Facilities:
The site is located on 10 acres with open storage for over 800 vehicles and inside storage of nearly 400 total pallet spaces.
50 ton scale is located within the facility and is equipped with radiation detection equipment.
Constraints:
The DLA Disposition Services D2 Site is remotely located from main gate area. Customers are required to wait for escort after notification from the main gate guards.

Kaiserslautern, Germany is 80 miles southwest of Frankfurt, Germany and 295 miles northeast of Paris, France. The city lies in the Rhineland-Pfalz State of Germany and is a crossroads to many parts of Europe.

General Information:
The site is the largest DLA Disposition Services site in Europe. It handles all disposal functions. The majority of property handled electronic and communication equipment.
Area of Responsibility:
Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens, Baumholder, Landstuhl and Miesau. Support is also given to The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Facilities:
Numerous inside storage warehouses and outside storage throughout the facility area. The site receives property at 5 different areas within the compound. This also includes the (CDD) C e n t r a l Demil Division operational area.
60 ton scale with radiation detection equipment is within the facility
Constraints:
All visitors to the site are controlled by security services at the main gate. All personnel must pass through a gate guard to enter the site.

Location:
Lajes Field is located in the northeast corner of the Azorean island of Terceira, approximately 970 miles off the coast of mainland Portugal. It shares its airfield with the commercial airport of Lajes field .

General Information:
The site disposes of excess surplus property ranging from furniture, equipment vehicles as well as scrap materials from the 65th Air Base Wing, USAFE and support agencies. Business may increase due to the future deployment and refueling stops for many DoD units transienting through Lajes field from downrange. The island has limited landfills and recycling facilities.
Public Scales: The site or base does not have a vehicle scale; the public weigh scale is at the port near Cabo da Praia approximately 7km from the base.

After arriving at Lajes field Airport, turn left from the Airport arrivals parking lot at the first intersection, turn left go across the end of the runway road approx ¼ mile. Turn left around the traffic circle and go through the main gate when cleared, go to the 5th right turn, go up the hill to the second left turn and follow the road about ¾ mile. Turn right in front of the long line of metal sided buildings; the DLA Disposition Services site is on the right side.

Once you are out of London, go towards North on the A1. At the A14 junction/ traffic circle, go towards the Midlands (west) to the RAF Molesworth exit, B660.
At the “T” junction, turn right. Follow this road through Old Weston to Cockbrook Lane (on left). Follow Cockbrook Lane to the large green warehouse. Turn right into the DLA Disposition Services site.

From Jerez Spai n Airport: Exit on A4 headed south towards Jerez;

General Information:
The site is the largest DLA Disposition Services site in Europe. It handles all disposal functions. The majority of property handled electronic and communication equipment.
Area of Responsibility:
Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens, Baumholder, Landstuhl and Miesau. Support is also given to The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Facilities:
Numerous inside storage warehouses and outside storage throughout the facility area. The site receives property at 5 different areas within the compound. This also includes the (CDD) C e n t r a l Demil Division operational area.
60 ton scale with radiation detection equipment is within the facility
Constraints:
All visitors to the site are controlled by security services at the main gate. All personnel must pass through a gate guard to enter the site.

Lajes Field is located in the northeast corner of the Azorean island of Terceira, approximately 970 miles off the coast of mainland Portugal. It shares its airfield with the commercial airport of Lajes field .

General Information:
The site disposes of excess surplus property ranging from furniture, equipment vehicles as well as scrap materials from the 65th Air Base Wing, USAFE and support agencies. Business may increase due to the future deployment and refueling stops for many DoD units transienting through Lajes field from downrange. The island has limited landfills and recycling facilities.
Public Scales: The site or base does not have a vehicle scale; the public weigh scale is at the port near Cabo da Praia approximately 7km from the base.

After arriving at Lajes field Airport, turn left from the Airport arrivals parking lot at the first intersection, turn left go across the end of the runway road approx ¼ mile. Turn left around the traffic circle and go through the main gate when cleared, go to the 5th right turn, go up the hill to the second left turn and follow the road about ¾ mile. Turn right in front of the long line of metal sided buildings; the DLA Disposition Services site is on the right side.

Once you are out of London, go towards North on the A1. At the A14 junction/ traffic circle, go towards the Midlands (west) to the RAF Molesworth exit, B660.
At the “T” junction, turn right. Follow this road through Old Weston to Cockbrook Lane (on left). Follow Cockbrook Lane to the large green warehouse. Turn right into the DLA Disposition Services site.

From Jerez Spai n Airport: Exit on A4 headed south towards Jerez;
exit right at 641A on the A-480 towards Sanlucar, Chipiona, and Rota (Sur), take next right (22) onto the A-2078 follow this to the end.
