About this file
This document includes an amendment to a solicitation and details of a related federal contract opportunity. The amendment provides clarification regarding the Northeastern Regional HW Incineration Contract, which is a single-award contract through the Defense Logistics Agency to provide incineration or other thermal treatment and final disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, PCB and regulated wastes generated by DoD and Coast Guard installations in 19 contiguous states. The services will be available to DLA Disposition Services as an outlet when no other waste removal options exist to ensure generators do not exceed storage limits. Eligible pickup locations are listed in an attachment, and new locations within the region may be added during the contract period. The amendment clarifies that DLA will not mandate which existing contracts generators must use, but all approved incineration facilities have access to the full scope of this contract.

Amendment 0006:
The purpose of Amendment 0006 is to answer questions and clarify answers from amendment 0005 Questions followed by answers in red.
I know we are technically past the question deadline, but we have the following important clarification needed based on your responses to questions asked in Amendment 0005.
Will the government be REQUIRED to use this contract for disposal of ALL the future HW turned in requiring incineration?
All the Generators in the states listed under incinerator contracts have access to the incineration contract through its entirety.
If not a requirements contract, please explain who and, or what will decide when this Incineration Contract will be used vs the existing HW contract in place
DLA will not dictate which contract Generators must use.
Will this be a single or multiple award contract? This will be a single award contract.
