About this file
This document is a comprehensive technical specification for water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades at Red Rock State Park in Arizona, prepared by the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) and Arizona State Parks. The document was finalized in April 2024 and developed by Valentine Environmental Engineers, LLC and Jensen Engineering, LLC, covering civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work across multiple project volumes and technical specification divisions.
The project involves comprehensive infrastructure improvements including renovations to the park's main picnic area restroom, installation of a new drinking water fountain, replacement of a 1-1/2 inch transmission waterline serving the entrance guard building, construction of a new CXT restroom near the Visitor Center, replacement of a potable water storage tank level gauge, and replacement of a short segment of inlet sewer line to the Visitor Center septic tank. The work is structured with a base bid and additive alternates, with specific technical requirements detailed across Divisions 1-17, covering everything from general requirements and site work to electrical and instrumentation specifications. The project emphasizes precise installation standards, material specifications, testing protocols, and compliance with various state and national regulatory standards.
