About this file
This document is a comprehensive technical specification for a wastewater infrastructure and potable water storage tank upgrade project for Slide Rock State Park in Arizona, prepared by the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA). The project involves Valentine Environmental Engineers, LLC and Jensen Engineering, LLC, who have collaboratively developed detailed technical specifications spanning Divisions 1 through 17, with a final submittal dated April 2024.
The project encompasses multiple critical infrastructure improvements, including upgrades to the wastewater systems and potable water storage tank. The work is divided into a base bid and additive alternates, with key components including installation of new turbidimeters, chlorination system pumps, fans, a 2,000-gallon underground holding tank, valve vault, retaining wall, and lift station improvements. The specifications cover detailed requirements for materials, installation procedures, testing protocols, and quality assurance measures for piping, electrical systems, instrumentation, and associated infrastructure. The project will utilize various materials such as PVC piping, stainless steel components, and will involve careful installation, testing, and disinfection procedures to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulatory standards.
