1. Clauses
This FAR regulation appears in the solicitation: 52.226-1 Utilization of Indian Organizations and Indian-Owned Economic Enterprises
Does this apply to the prime offeror? Will preference be given to the prime Indian offeror, under this regulation?
Kelly
FAR 52.226-1 states that “The Contractor shall use its best efforts to give Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises (25 U.S.C.1544) the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the subcontracts it awards to the fullest extent consistent with efficient performance of its contract.” The Contractor in this usage is prime offeror.
There is no Indian Owned Preference provided in Section L and M of the solicitation.
2. Drawings
We do not see the drawings posted to the beta.sam.gov website, although there is a note for “Please Request Role”. However, when we click on the “Request Role” button, it leads us to our profile but does not connect to making a request for the subject solicitation. Can you please advise how we should properly request for the drawings for this solicitation?
Kelly All drawings available for this project are included in the solicitations. We do not have any as-built drawings for this project.
