The contract documents include requirements for criminal background checks for all employees and agents performing work at Department of Military Affairs facilities, and bidders are responsible for all costs associated with required insurance and bonds.
The estimated construction cost is $1,800,000.00, with the project designed by Jeff Collins of Camp Blanding Joint Training Center Directorate of Public Works and administered by the Department of Military Affairs Construction and Facility Management Office. The Contractor must provide and maintain an exclusive 12' x 12' watertight field office for the Architect/Engineer, install and pay for a telephone, furnish water and electricity for construction and testing purposes, erect a specified project sign, provide 24-hour site security, and obtain all necessary local building permits and pay associated fees.
