Ongoing NSROC III Work in October 2021
There are ~50-80 Development and Routine Project Assignment (DRPA) work orders to perform work in the following areas:
Project management
Drafting
Design and Development
Fabrication
Integrating and testing
Machine or electrical shop operations
Environmental testing
Vehicle hardware/development
Reimbursable missions
Procurement of equipment, hardware, and supplies
Electrical components, wiring, and assembly
Mechanical assembly
Analysis (include thermal, electrical, mechanical, and performance)
NSROC Program Management – including safety, logistics, property, business, financial, procurement
Outreach and Education (i.e. Interns and Co-ops)
Most Wallops entities (including Balloons, Aircraft, Range, etc.) have a DRPA work order in place
Training
Graphics, Web, and Workshop support
The period of performance for these DRPA work orders range from days up to a year. Reference the NSROC III Statement of Work (SOW) for additional details on the DRPA work orders.
Additionally, there are ~50 mission work orders at various stages of completion.
The period of performance for these mission work orders range from 6 months to several years.
As of October 2021 the following missions already in progress will transfer to the NSROC IV Contractor at varying stages of the mission lifecycle (mission closeout occurs 180 days after the launch date). Note that new missions may be added to the manifest throughout the rest of the NSROC III period of performance, so this list will continually change throughout the NSROC IV procurement schedule.
