B. Basis of Design for Ridge Mounted trolley system: H39 SAFERIDGE SAFETY SYSTEM
1. The Saferidge System consists of a plastic coated steel or aluminum (powder coated) sheet, an isolating layer and a powder coated extruded aluminum section. The mobile eyebolt is manufactured from anodized aluminum extruded sections complete with stainless steel eye piece and ancillary parts, all running on plastic-covered roller bearings.
2. Components: Saferidge Safety System with CE Mark to European Patent No. 00593150 comprising a plastic coated steel sheet ridge section, isolating layer and powder coated extruded aluminum section complete with mobile eyebolt, all fixings and end-stops and entry gate.

C. Basis of Design for the Off Ridge Mounted trolley system: Safetraxx System
1. The Safetraxx System is manufactured using extruded aluminum section complete with a slotting arrangement down the length of each wing, which is then powder coated in the required color. The standard Starter and Finisher lengths incorporating an exit and entry gate and milled slot for the Endstop is used. System includes a stainless steel eye piece and ancillary parts, all running on plastic-covered roller bearings. The Safetraxx System used in-conjunction with a standing seam type panel, is to be supplied with a clamping method of securing the Safetraxx System to the roof panel. Provide a clamp arrangement suited to the particular seam profile of the metal roof of Building 25.
2. Components:
a. The clamp arrangement will utilize either a two-piece S/S section formed to match the seam profile or an extruded aluminum block extruded to match the seam profile. The suitability of the clamp design dictates the clamp specification. The clamps are located on the seam.
b. Include two fully approved body harness with a connecting lanyard which incorporates an energy absorbing device as part of system. This equipment is to be used in conjunction with the Safetraxx work positioning down slope rope which incorporates an arrester device (sometimes referred to as a rope jammer) to ensure the operative can adjust the length of rope so as to maintain at all times a light tension on the system.
3. Finish / Color: To match metal roof color of Building 25.
4. Fastening: To be fixed strictly in accordance with the directions, issued by Saferidge Ltd and supplied with the system, all for use by the installer. (No other fastener may be used).
