DESIGN INFORMATION MEMO (DIM)

FROM:
TO: SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING - NN ATTENTION: CODE 152
HULL: CVN 73 USS GEORGE WASHINGTON
SCD/ SWLIN / ITEM: SHIPALT 9369D/43693-001.00
TITLE / SUBJECT: IC CKT 3TK CABLE LEAD NUMBERS
REFERENCES: a) 401-8654854
b) 401-8509837
QUESTION OR ACTION REQUIRED:
Reference (a) requires 26 cable lead numbers for IC circuit 3TK as part of the installation of Potable Water
Radar Tank Level Indicators. Based on the preference for standardization of labelling for Shipalts/SCDs performed in Propulsion Plant areas as recently expressed by RPPY/PPEA, NNS would like to use cable lead numbers C-3TK101 through C-3TK126 to match Reference (b) which performed this same Shipalt for CVN72.
NNSY is requested to either verify the suggested cable lead numbers are acceptable and document them or provide 26 different cable lead numbers for IC circuit 3TK.
