STATEMENT OF WORK
Performance Work Statement
1. BACKGROUND
Military Sealift Command (MSC) has a fleet wide initiative to reduce overall energy consumption by 15% by 2020 while providing an optimal work environment for operating engineers. Freeze/Chill Pre-Staging Areas during low load cargo refrigeration scenarios.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide engineering services to design and commission a fully functional stand-alone Auxiliary
Pre-Stage Area Refrigeration (APAR) system on twelve (12) T-AKE Class MSC ships. The Contractor shall procure and deliver all long lead time material for all twelve (12) T-AKE ships. The Contractor shall visit and assess at least two (2) AKE class ships to verify equipment and space variations to support system design.
