About this file

This is Amendment #1 to Invitation for Bid (ITB) #32110-13596 issued by the State of Tennessee Central Procurement Office for Shredding Services, dated March 3, 2025. The amendment provides clarifications on service requirements for both mobile and plant-based document shredding services across four regions in Tennessee. The contract requires contractors to provide 28-32 gallon locking bins that meet Joint Commission Standards, offer both mobile and plant-based shredding capabilities, and provide Certificates of Destruction for all services performed. Contractors can bid on individual regions rather than the entire state.

Key requirements include TBI background checks for employees (letters of attestation not accepted), Social Security Administration data security training for contractor employees at no cost to the state, and NAID certification for both mobile and plant-based services. The state has not provided specific location counts or addresses across the four regions, but refers bidders to the Evaluation Model column F for Expected Annual Quantities. Additional services like purges are available on an as-needed basis. While subcontracting and DBE participation are not required, contractors must be capable of providing both mobile and plant-based shredding services for any regions they bid on.
