Section IX
DEFENSIVE AVIONICS SUBSYSTEM
This section addresses the complete Defensive Avionics Subsystem, which is made up of the ALQ-161A to include the TWF and the ALE 48/49 (not to include expendable towed decoys). (See Section X and Section XVII. In addition, any Electronic Attack (formerly ECM) parameter that relates to performance on the B-1 shall be classified as described below. Furthermore, any performance data that reveals potential or current performance related to the B-1 Defensive Avionics Subsystem, whether the data is modeled, tested or done by analysis shall be classified as described below.
