Q1. Is the Right Side of building facing towards the dirt field where the existing utilities are located?
A1. Correct refer to " 1.0 USAF JTC-TRS-RSS Floorplan" the right side has the entry points for Electrical and Comm. Which are facing towards the dirt.
Q2. Main Feeder wire size is insufficient to provide 300 amps when applying the 4-6 wire derating- NEC310.15(B)(3)(A) - adjustment factor is 80%. Can you provide us with the proper wire size?
A2. 2 runs each with 4 #350 AWG, #1/0 GND in 2-3" conduits run 24" below grade U.O.N. Note that in E100 it is #1/0 replace this for #350.
Q3. Can you provide the necessary drawings and details for Electrical Grounding for this project?
A3. Please refer to "6.0 USAF JTC-TRS-RSS Electrical" E101 attachment.
Q4. According the drawing Sheet E100 a (GFE) panel RSS is shown. Are we to mount and wire this on the concrete pad?
A4. Feeder cable from the Transformer & disconnect shall include protection and termination to the RSS MDP. The RSS MDP will be provided by the STS Facility contractor, and they shall perform connections from the termination.
Please refer to "6.0 USAF JTC-TRS-RSS Electrical" E000 Panelboard Schedule, E002 one line, E104 for the Panel floor plan.
Q5. Please clarify the SOW for the Division 27-Communications portion of the is project? We are under the assumption that 2-4" Sch. 40 PVC empty sealed raceways are the extent of work for this project. Is this correct?

Q6. Please provide the location for the concrete handhole? Is a handhole needed for this project?
A6.1. Handholes for Comm. Please refer to "6.0 USAF JTC-TRS-RSS Electrical" E102. For electrical handhole, similar to the Comm. Handhole 10' from the electrical entry point.
A6.2. Please coordinate with CE for your handhole placement before placing pre-cast concrete for handhole.
A6.3. Anticipate Coordination with base electricians/Comms. Shop in locating outside source plant for comm. Wires. See Attachment "JTC HH" for outside source plant handhole location for Comm., note that the building in the picture no longer exists.
