· NOTE 1: The contractor will provide whole dollar proposals as the lump sum total price based on his/her tasked actual cost, overhead, profit.
· NOTE 2: For low thru high magnitude, design proposal cost will be firm fix priced.
· NOTE 3: The purpose of paying for the design and negotiation effort of a project is to temporarily reimburse the contractor for his effort. Barring extenuating circumstances the government intends to award the construction of the designed and negotiated delivery order. Subsequently, if the project is awarded for construction the contractor will be paid the negotiated amount for actual construction minus the project design fee already paid to the contractor after negotiation.
