Questions and Answers
All revisions/answers to questions apply to the original Solicitation.
Question: As we discussed I am concerned with the ten ft depth being speced for the geothermal well field. At that depth we will most assuredly be in ground water which makes it difficult and dangerous to fuse our pipes with our heating irons. Also this site appears to have very little room and there will be a huge amount of dirt excavated to construct a safe and Osha approved trench. Industry standards for our area are six ft.
Answer: Spec 23 21 15 and drawing M-501 indicate lateral piping depth of seven feet (84").
Trench depth reference has been removed from note on drawing sheet MS102 revised 18Aug16.
Change is clouded.
Question: I have been doing a flooring take off for some of the general contractors and just want to know if you want rubber stair treads on the stairs? I see rubber tile on the landings but cannot find anything on the treads and risers themselves.
Answer: Treads and risers are to receive new finishes. See revised specification 09 65 00 dated 18 August 16 with “riser” added. Changes are identified with a vertical line in the left margin.
