Separate Unclassified And Classified Capabilities
Users: HQ AMC, TACC, AMC’s AMOSs, ACC’s AOS, USAFE AOC/AMD and PACAF AOC/AMD, SOUTHCOM, USPACOM, USTRANSCOM, and CENTCOM AOC/AMD (Al Udeid)
Combined Legacy Systems:

Airlift - AMC Deployment Analysis System (ADANS) A/R - Combined Mating & Ranging Planning System (CMARPS)

CAMPS Functionalities Client-Server:

Channel (airline schedule) SAAM (Special Assignment Airlift Mission – VIP, charter) Barrelmaster (allocation of resources) Contingency/Exercise Planning (JOPES TPFDDs or ITARS) AE (Air Evacuation) Air Refueling (force level tools for A/R requests) Web-Based:

ARMS (Air Refueling Management System) SRS (SAAM Request System – submit, validate, approve) ITARS (Intra-Theater Airlift Request System – non-TPFDD) Special Use (client-server):

TSSAS (TPFDD input/analysis) CMARPS tools for A/R (GSICS, CMARP, ADIS, etc.)

This diagram shows the major AMC C2 systems that work together to manage AMC requirements (passenger, cargo, and Air Refueling) and missions (plan, schedule, execute and report on airlift & air refueling missions).

The left-hand side displays the "levels" or echelons that are involved … Joint, HQ AMC (the Tanker Airlift Control Center—TACC), Unit or Deployed

Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES) requirements are sent to AMC as TPFDD movement requirements.
TPFDD - Time Phased Force and Deployment Data
Consolidated Air Mobility Planning System (CAMPS) receives and manages the joint movement requirements along with other requirements that are input into CAMPS, either directly or via web tools.
Requirements are sent to HQ AMC's TACC (AMC’s AOC), or to the Air Mobility Division (AMD).
In CAMPS, requirements for AMC airlift and air refueling missions are planned, scheduled, assigned to a unit and weapon system for execution, and then sent to GDSS.
Global Decision Support System (GDSS) is used in the TACC to manage execution of the airlift and air refueling missions, at both force- and unit-levels.
The Advanced Computer Flight Plan (ACFP) system is used by aircrews and TACC or AMD planners to generate wind optimized flight plans.
In theater AOCs (AMDs), Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS) is used to manage the daily execution of air mobility and combat missions in the Air Tasking Order (ATO).
L-Band and Aircraft Communication Addressing & Reporting System-ACARS provide near real time reporting of airlift mission execution worldwide, including KC-135, C-17, and C-5 aircraft (and future C-130).
Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) is used to enter and track cargo and passenger information, which is also sent to the financial systems for billing purposes. GATES also passes cargo and passenger movement data to GTN to report on completed mobility movements.
In Global Transportation Network (GTN), the movement reporting is consolidated, and sent back to JOPES for overall joint reporting.

Here’s a sampling of the major military Contingency and Humanitarian operations we’ve been involved in just over the last 2 to 3 years.

Simply put, we in AMC are extremely busy accomplishing our wartime mission everyday.

I would like to focus on the two pictured in the center, Operations NOBLE EAGLE, and ENDURING FREEDOM. (next slide)

CAMPS Suites Operational – Scott (and Alternate)

Unclassified – Channels, SAAMs, AirEvac, A/R, AE, Barrels, ITARS Classified (S) – Separate Suites:
