Q&A
QUESTION 1: Will the Government accept emailed quotes?
ANSWER 1: No. Hard copy delivery only. The emails are only provided for POC purposes for questions/site visit coordination as the government cannot guarantee emailed quotes will be delivered due to certain file type and size restrictions outside of our agency's control.
QUESTION 2: In the new procurement, I was wondering if the CLIN descriptions are correct for the option years. For the first year you state:
But then you state:
Looking at Attachment 2, it appears you would like us to price the same things for the base and option years, but the CLIN language would appear to contradict that.
Please advise.
ANSWER 2: Please see updated Combined Synopsis and Solicitation. The discerptions for CLINs 1002 and 2002 should be identical to CLIN 0002.
QUESTION 3: Please confirm that all you require as far as a quote goes are the filled out reps and certs and lump sum pricing for each CLIN.
ANSWER 3: Please see Combined Synopsis Solicitation for CLIN pricing and use of Attachment 2, CLIN X002 Price List; FAR Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items, and Addendum; and FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items (OCT 2014).
QUESTION 4: Does this solicitation require proposals to be mailed in as opposed to emailed?
If so, can you please provide the best address to send to?
ANSWER 4: This information has been publicized within the RFQ's FBO posting document labeled FA3016-17-T-0011 Combined_SS. Also See Question #1.
QUESTION 5:…my question was centered more around confirming that your team is requesting hardcopies as opposed to electronic copies. The text to which you refer implies this using the language "Deliver Quotes" but does not explicitly state that hardcopies are required or that electronic copies will not be accepted. We just wanted to verify the delivery method you prefer. An electronic copy is considered "delivered" via email. Are we to assume that mail delivery is your requirement?
ANSWER 5: Hard copy delivery only. The emails are only provided for POC purposes for questions/site visit coordination as the government cannot guarantee emailed quotes will be delivered due to certain file type and size restrictions outside of our agency's control.
QUESTION 6: I am inquiring regarding JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO ICIDS III IV MAINTENANCE SERVICEF FA301617T0011. I am trying to prevent creating duplicate records, and was wondering if this was a new requirement or if there was an incumbent contractor/contractors currently performing these services? If there is an incumbent can you please provide the Contractor, Contract #, Award date, Expiration, and value for each of the incumbents?
ANSWER 6: The previous contract number was FA3016-12-F-0063 (FA301612F0063). Any public information for this contract can be found by conducting a search via Federal Procurement Data System – Next Generation, www.fpds.gov.
