No. Please comply with the Instructions to Offerors in Section L.
113 4/26/2022 Are projects completed in other DoD installations acceptable? Yes. Please comply with the Instructions to
Offerors in Section L.
114 4/26/2022 I see in the information that drawings are located at the CE office at Eglin. Since I do not have access to Eglin, how can I get a copy of those documents?
As‐Builts have been provided on Sam.gov.
115 4/27/2022 We also ask if there are any drawings of the building seen at the site visit available for viewing or downloading on SAM or any other website we can access?
As‐Builts have been provided on Sam.gov.
116 4/27/2022
Attachment L3 technical reference and Attachment L5 past performance information – a lot of the information requested in form L3 is repeated in form L5, if the past performance information form L5 is being completed for the same projects listed on form L3, the information provided would be a repetition. Is this the requirement of the AFB?
Please comply with the Instructions to Offerors in Section L.
Yes, the projects submitted for technical experience will be the same projects submitted for past performance.
117 4/27/2022
Section L Subsection 2.5.3.2 says that “The project referenced shall demonstrate the Contractor’s experience for new construction work for builds, design/builds and/or renovation/repair of existing facilities to include multiple disciplines (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Fire Protection, Electrical, or Civil Work), multiple divisions/trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.), and or Subcontractors.” Are we correct to interpret this to mean that relevant projects are for construction services only (either bid‐build or design‐build) and not for design‐only services (either the design part of a design‐build‐build or a DOR’s subcontracted piece of a design‐build project)?
IAW Section L, Subsection 2.5.3.2, we are not requesting Design Only project submittals.
118 4/27/2022 Aside from design‐build projects for which the offeror was the prime contractor, does the USAF expect offerors to include any projects in Volume III (Technical Experience Proposal) specifically to show their design partner’s experience?
IAW Section L, Subsection 2.5.3.2, we are not requesting Design Only project submittals.
119 4/27/2022
If a design‐only project (one for which the project being described did not include any construction scope) is submitted in Volume III, none of the boxes in the “Divisions/Trades Included as part of the Scope of Project ” should be checked on Attachment L3, correct?
Please comply with the Instructions to Offerors in Section L and M. IAW Section L, Subsection 2.5.3.2, we are not requesting Design Only project submittals.
120 4/27/2022
In Section M it appears as though delivery type (bid‐build vs. design‐build) is not a factor in rating the relevancy of an offeror’s collection of projects. If other elements of magnitude and complexity are equal, should offerors assume that bid‐build projects are equally relevant as design‐build projects?
Please comply with the Instructions to Offerors in Section L and M. Evaluation criteria is stated in Section M.
121 4/27/2022 Can as‐built drawings be provided for Building 9460? As‐Builts have been provided on Sam.gov.

Section L.2.4 Indexing states “Each volume shall contain a more detailed table of contents to delineate the subparagraphs within that volume. Tab indexing shall be used to identify sections.” Please provide further clarification as to what the Government wants for this index. Is it just a detailed table of contents that lists subparagraph headings, or should the Offeror provide a detailed table of contents in addition to a separate Tab Index? Tab indexing in MS Word is technically a different format than Table of Contents and is a listing of key words and the page numbers they appear on.
Per Section L, Section 2.4 ‐ Each volume shall contain a more detailed table of contents to delineate the subparagraphs within that volume.
Tab indexing, as described ‐ refers to divider pages, which are exempt from page count.

Attachment L9, page 2 states the building to be 18’ high, while on Architectural a on page 16, it states 30’. With a 20’ hook height required by the crane, we can provide a building with an eave height of 28’ or less which would eliminate the need to extend the new roof over the existing roof and still accommodate the hook height for the crane. Our concern with creating this valley system over an existing roof is voiding an of the existing roof warranty and the supporting structure of the existing roof purlins not able to support the new required framing required for the extending the roof. Please confirm we have this option.
Please refer to Section 3.0 in the Revised SOW.
