AIMS BASE SUPPORT
The Government shall furnish the following equipment, services and support on a no-cost basis except to the extent that the Contractor is required to furnish same in accordance with other provisions of this contract.
Eastern Range/Ascension Island
a. Civil engineering and equipment support at Patrick AFB and CCAFS
b. Office, workspace, utilities, and commercial communications at Patrick AFB, CCAFS, and
Ascension AAF.
c. Fire protection, janitorial services (trash pick-up will not be provided within the facilities, an exterior receptacle will be provided), and security services at Patrick AFB and CCAFS.
d. Emergency Medical Services at Patrick AFB and CCAFS.
e. Sea and Air transportation required to transport personnel, equipment, materials and supplies for support of downrange stations with the exception of alcohol for resale in the employee clubs.
• US contractor employees stationed at Ascension Island will be authorized three
(3) roundtrips back to Patrick AFB for permissible and/or emergency leave. Any other leave will be at the expense of the contractor
• All travel between Ascension Island and St. Helena will be at the contractor expense.
• All other travel from Patrick AFB to Ascension or Ascension to Patrick AFB (i.e.
O&M, management travel, etc.) must be coordinated and approved by the PMD prior to travel.
f. Chemical Analysis of fuels, oxidizers, pressurizing gases, and other materials requiring chemical analysis and identifications.
g. COMSEC training as available to the Air Force.
h. Technical training as available to the Air Force.
i. Government Bills of Lading as appropriate.
j. All real property and facilities, both U.S. mainland and downrange stations or sites, necessary for Contractor performance as determined by the Contracting Officer.
k. Limitation of furnishing ADPE. Government does not have available base support items to satisfy mainframe type ADPE requirements for contractor administrative and business systems.
l. Land Mobile Radio (LMR) maintenance support.

m. Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) support.
The contractor shall report to the CO inadequacies, defective Government Property (GP) or non-availability of support stipulated by attachment, together with a recommendation plan for obtaining the required support. The Government will determine the validity and extent of the involved requirement and the method by which it shall be fulfilled (e.g., purchase, rental, lease, etc.). Additionally, the Contractor (or authorized representative) shall not purchase, or otherwise furnish any base support requirement provided in this attachment (or authorize others to do so), without prior written approval of the Contracting Officer.
